At Mechanicon, our mission is to empower and expand engineering opportunities for high school students in the Bay Area. We believe that by fostering their passion for engineering and connecting it to real-world problems, we can create a generation of innovative problem-solvers. Our primary focus this year is on addressing a pressing issue especially amplified by climate change: natural disasters. Participants will compete to design, prototype, and create solutions to problems relating to the theme of natural disasters. Challenges and judging criteria are to be revealed on the day of the competition.
